Steak + Oysters, can we get a hell yes?!
Our love affair with The Southern began on our first trip to Nashville to pick out an apartment. Years later, it remains as one of our absolute favorite spots in town. Just a quick block away from Broadway, it is a great place for a date before hitting up your favorite honky tonks! The Southern is one of those rare places where the food is insanely delicious, but it is still fun to go just for a drink (the sangria is delish!).
The front bar area is the best place to sit as it provides a great “see and be seen” atmosphere. From the BBQ shrimp to the steak and biscuits we are obsessed with all of the food! The Southern is known for their oysters and we are huge fans of sharing them on dates! With plenty of options to choose from, pick a variety to try with your date! This is an upscale place that still provides a lively atmosphere, hardly heard of in the upscale restaurant scene! We suggest wine, oysters, and steaks for your next date!
