Let me ask you a few questions…
Have you ever ignored a guy’s text message?
Have you ever dropped his calls so you looked busy?
Have you put off a date because you told him you were double-booked?
Be honest. How many times have you done one of these things?
You waited until his third missed call before you bothered to reply to him. You spoke to your friends and they told you to play it cool, and don’t show you’re interested in him. You met a man you liked, and even though he asked you out, you told him you were busy. You wanted to make him wait for you. What happened in the end? He never tried asking you out again.
If you really want to find love, you have to stop playing those dating games!
Games outside the relationship arena are fine. I’m a big fan of Monopoly and Scrabble. In fact, one of my favorite dates is playing Gin Rummy on the beach, with a bottle of wine watching the sunset. But honestly, to enjoy dating success the David Wygant way you have to cut out the crap.
Games never work, because games mean lies and manipulation. If you start a relationship on those foundations, it’s never going to last. In relationships, you need to be open, honest, and even vulnerable.
I know the word vulnerable has some of you grabbing for that bottle of red next to you, but it’s the only way you’re going to attract the right kind of man into your life. Don’t be afraid of a little rejection. Take it in your stride. Every day I go out and I embrace rejection. If a guy decides you’re not the woman for him, so what?
It’s his loss right?
You have to put yourself out there. If you meet a guy you like don’t be afraid to show your hand. If you want to see him again, tell him. If he calls you, answer the phone. If he texts you, respond to his text. Because let me tell you a secret about men: We don’t like playing games.
Sure, you might meet some man-boys who like the chase, but real men don’t like messing around. Tell us what you want, answer our calls, and stop pretending you’re busy. I talk about this a lot in my dating products for women. You have to be real, and you have to stop worrying about what guys think. If you’re not open from the start, all your relationships will be doomed.
Try it…
I bet you’ll be more successful in dating than ever before!
