Recently, I chatted about love spells with psychic, intuitive counselor, teacher, healer and spellcaster, Marie Bargas. You might know her better as The Hollywood Witch. First, what exactly is a love spell?
A spell is a non-verbal message to the universe requesting a change. A love spell is a message sent out to the universe requesting a union between two hearts to make a life together. In the same way that we communicate easily these days through cell phones and texts, a love spell is simply an energetic “text” to the universe that says, “I know that you can give me my heart’s desire because love is what holds life together and creates happy families and good people. So, here’s a simple mirror spell for self-love. Stand in from of a mirror for ten seconds and say, “I love myself. I’d like someone who loves me as much as I do because I can give them that love back.” Do this everyday to attract love into your life.
What’s one of the best successes you’ve achieved with a love spell?
I gave a woman a honey jar spell that got her a proposal in 24 hours. Her man was too wish washy and the honey sweetened him up enough to pop the question. In hindsight, I should have told her to put colloidal gold in the jar because the ring was, in my opinion, too small. But she got him and that’s all that really matters.
Is there anyone who should avoid using love spells?
The last thing anyone wants to do after a bad break-up is to use a love spell to attract a rebound lover. Rebound relationships are often not meant to last. A potent love spell could turn a rebound lover into a stalker.
