Did someone forget that you’ve been bankrolling his/her high-and-mighty lifestyle? You hate to go there, but you may have to pull the plug to make your point.
What gives? You were promised a prize and now you have to compete for it? Show you’re worth it and nobody can dispute your claim.
What starts off as something you do for fun could wind up turning a profit if that’s the path you want to take. One doesn’t have to preclude the other.
It’s great that a loved one wants to help, but you may be better off saying thanks but no thanks.
Just because you say you’d take care of a certain matter doesn’t necessarily mean you did. Double-check to make sure.
