I hope I don’t regret using this as my date spot blurb this week because I fear it turning into the type of place where there’s a line to get in. The reason why I like going on [week day] dates here is because I feel like we’ve been transported outside of the City – a particularly unassuming door leads you and your date upstairs and straight into Burma. Pegu Club is intimately lit, serving incredible cocktails, and is the kind of place you can tell the bartender how you’re feeling and he’ll whip up the perfect drink for you.
