I’ll admit it. I have a crush on Justin Timberlake, and I think most women are with me. He’s just undeniably swoon-worthy. It all started when I saw Justin and Britney Spears wearing those matching denim numbers. Anyone else remember that? Sure, that twinsie head-to-toe denim look was a fashion disaster, but it was really, really sweet. And it showed that this guy wasn’t just looks and swagger, he was a relationship man too. And now this crush-worthy dude is officially taken by an equally crush-worthy lady, Jessica Biel. Here’s why this is a relationship I can get behind:
At 30 and above, they’re old enough to know themselves, what they want out of life and what they want out of a partner. A marriage at this stage in their lives feels like a really solid decision to me. They’ve been making smart major decisions about their careers and finances for nearly a decade, and they’ve laid the groundwork for successfully making decisions as a couple.
These two are quiet. And I mean that in the sense of publicizing their private lives, not it terms of personality. Even when these two split last year, they didn’t take it to the press. During their time apart, Justin simply said about Jessica, “She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, okay? … I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me — for instance, her.”
You don’t have to be a relationship expert to know that respect is a crucial element of a successful relationship. JT has got it. This is exactly what long-lasting love is made of.
So a million mazels to these two on their marriage! I can’t wait to see how this relationship flourishes and if there will be any Biel-Timberlake babies. Cuteness overload!
