Knowing whether a guy you work with likes you is so easy.
So ridiculously easy.
Yet, in today’s world, it’s a little more complicated.
Every single day it seems you’re reading about somebody else who gets fired from their jobs.
Men now are more afraid than ever that they’re going to turn into the next Matt Lauer.
And woman are afraid to even move a muscle, because they’re afraid the men they work with are abusers. They’re Matt Lauers.
But this doesn’t mean that a few bad people are going to ruin it for all of the rest of us.
So how do you tell if a guy or girl likes you at work?
It’s real simple. It’s the visits that seem to come on a regular basis.
Instead of sitting in the cubical like most people do, IMing each other or e-mailing, they’ll actually come by and ask you a question.
They’ll ask you a question about work, but they’ll always try to get into something personal.
What you did over the weekend?
What you’re doing for the Christmas holidays?
They’re trying to learn things about you.
They make a Friday night or late Friday afternoon visit to see what you’re doing over the weekend.
They’re curious to know what’s going on in your life over the weekend, because deep down they’re trying to find a way to connect with you over the weekend. Or, they’re trying to get you to give them something back so maybe they can ask you out.
They’re always the first to see you on a Monday.
They’re smiling when they see you and they seek you out to find out personally how your weekend was.
They’re suggesting lunch together.
Or they suggest working on something together so they can sit next to you.
It’s the subtle little things.
It’s the way that somebody will flirt at work, because everybody knows that, in today’s litigious society when people are being outed left and right, they know that they need to be cool and calm and collected about this.
So if a man you work with likes you, those are subtle little ways to tell.
I don’t want to give you 27 signs that a man like you or anything like that. I don’t want to get you more into your head than you already are.
I don’t want to tell you things so you think more.
I want to get you more into life, and I want to get you more into really enjoying a man-woman connection.
Men aren’t as complicated as you might think. All you need to do is look honestly at a man, and you won’t struggle to know how he feels about you.
