Does this scenario sound familiar to you?
You met a guy. Seems like a great guy. You get to know each other a bit. You start having sex. Things are going really, really well. You don’t want to get too excited but you start to feel like you’ve met someone special.
Then, all the sudden, he sits you down and starts giving you that dreadful speech. You know what’s coming but you don’t want to believe it. “I think you’re great…but I see you more as a friend,” he says. He’s pulled away, and now you’re in the friend zone.
We’ve all been there. It’s the worst thing to hear when you think a relationship is going somewhere. I know the truth is hard to deal with, and I know it hurts.
So what’s a girl to do?
Here’s the deal: Make sure that he really does want you as only a friend. You may be asking, “how do I do that David?”
Here’s what you do: Head out in a group. While you’re out in your group of friends, you bring your sexy game with you. You go and flirt with other guys in front of him. That’s right. You flirt with other guys.
Men can be confusing. But in reality we’re not that much different to women. We always seem to want what we can’t have.
If he ignores it and gets on with his own thing, the signs aren’t good. If he lets it happen, then guess what, he’s not interested. He is your friend.
But if he pulls you away constantly and keeps rescuing you from the other guys, it shows he’s not quite sure about his feelings, and there’s a door open for you to maybe explore the relationship again.
Men can be confusing. But in reality we’re not that much different to women. We always seem to want what we can’t have. How many times have you said you weren’t interested in a guy, and then got jealous when you saw him flirting with someone else?
It happens all the time. It’s human nature. It’s the old, “You don’t know what you have till it’s gone” syndrome. By giving him this little test, you give him the chance to see how he feels about you being with other guys. If he really does only want you as a friend, he’ll be cool with it. If he has second thoughts, you’ll be able to see it in his eyes and in his body language.
So what if you are stuck in the friend zone?
Well, you have two choices. You accept you’re only ever going to be friends, or you kiss your friendship goodbye. I always try to stay friends with all the women I have relationships with. You once shared a special connection, and it’s a shame to throw it away just because it didn’t work out. Be strong, test him, and if you need to, move on!
