First dates are fun, exciting, emotional and probably most of all, confusing. With all of the primping and prepping and recapping and judging and drinking and obsessing, it’s hard to actually find a kernel of truth on a date. There’s just so much pomp and circumstance that digging deep and figuring out if there’s a real connection takes some serious know how. I can’t even claim to be a total expert on this. Every date is different, with its own weird clues and misdirects. Ugh, ugh, ugh. Are you reading up on the Orlando Bloom/Justin Bieber fight? Apparently, Orlando and Justin were both at Cipriani in Ibiza. What happened between them is kind of murky. Some folks say a few years ago Justin had a thing (or at least a flirtation) with Orlando Bloom’s then-wife Miranda Kerr. Later, Orlando was spotted with Justin’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez in a potentially romantic situation. I’ve been told that my obsession with celebrity culture is a big fat waste of time by some not so supportive people in my life. And I’m not going to say that celebrity gossip is the best thing to ever happen to humanity, but I really don’t think it’s a waste at all. I love what I love and the glitz and glam of famous people is something I can’t help but love. It’s not just about fame and fortune gawking, though. I’ve learned some important lessons from celebrities about life, money and especially about love.
