How To Tell If He Has Boyfriend Potential on the First Date

First dates are fun, exciting, emotional and probably most of all, confusing. With all of the primping and prepping and recapping and judging and drinking and obsessing, it’s hard to actually find a kernel of truth on a date. There’s just so much pomp and circumstance that digging deep and figuring out if there’s a real connection takes some serious know how. I can’t even claim to be a total expert on this. Every date is different, with its own weird clues and misdirects. But, I do have a lot of experience, of my own and with clients, and this is the checklist I like to review after a first date to see if a man has boyfriend potential. Read more

Where to Meet a Man Over 40

I have a lot of single girlfriends and a lot of single ladies in my database. All these single gals have one thing in common—they’re looking for love. And a lot of these women are looking for love specifically with a man over 40. I’ve been in that boat too. Why You Should Never Date a Man Who Physically Fights

Ugh, ugh, ugh. Are you reading up on the Orlando Bloom/Justin Bieber fight? Apparently, Orlando and Justin were both at Cipriani in Ibiza. What happened between them is kind of murky. Some folks say a few years ago Justin had a thing (or at least a flirtation) with Orlando Bloom’s then-wife Miranda Kerr. Later, Orlando was spotted with Justin’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez in a potentially romantic situation. It’s unclear if it’s just this history that lead Bloom to swing at Bieber or if something went down that night. But, what we know is that Bloom tried to punch Justin Bieber. Read more

Why I refuse to believe the break up rumors about Jay Z and Beyoncé

This isn’t my first time admitting to you guys that I’m gaga for celeb gossip. It’s not my proudest passion. But, I always have been into celebrity lifestyles and probably always will be. That doesn’t mean I’m a sucker who believes everything she reads in the tabloids. Trust me, I know they can be very, very wrong. There have been insane things they’ve written about me! Still, I just can’t quit them. Recent buzz in the gossip world is that Jay Z and Beyoncé are on the fast train to Splitsville. I think the tabloids have this all wrong. Here’s why. Read more

Love advice from Zoe Saldana that I love

I’ve been told that my obsession with celebrity culture is a big fat waste of time by some not so supportive people in my life. And I’m not going to say that celebrity gossip is the best thing to ever happen to humanity, but I really don’t think it’s a waste at all. I love what I love and the glitz and glam of famous people is something I can’t help but love. It’s not just about fame and fortune gawking, though. I’ve learned some important lessons from celebrities about life, money and especially about love. Recently, I was reading coverage of newly pregnant Zoe Saldana’s interview in Marie Claire and absolutely loved the advice she had about dealing with break ups. She was pretty classy and didn’t mention any names, but if you follow her love life (which I obviously do), you can make an educated guess that some of this was based on her experiences with exes Bradley Cooper and Keith Britton. Here’s what I learned. Read more
