Let me guess. You’ve met a great guy who has it all going on. A good job, great biceps, a smile that makes you melt. And just when it seems like everything’s going perfectly, he invites you to come with his group of buddies to watch a game. After an afternoon of uncountable dude burps, horrendous sex conquest stories and feeling like there’s not enough vodka in the whole while world to make the day tolerable, nothing about your relationship feels quite as perfect. Don’t worry, girl. This is common! Meeting a guy’s friends can be more revealing than meeting his parents. (After all, he didn’t pick his parents, but he did pick his friends.) And what it reveals might not be all that pretty. But, the question is…should it change your future with this guy? Well, here are five things you can do when you hate your boyfriend’s friends to help you decide what to do about your relationship.

I don’t know about you all, but I was absolutely dying to see Lauren Conrad’s wedding pictures. She has so much style. I just knew her special day was going to be an amazing spectacle and so inspiring. And she didn’t disappoint at all. What I loved the most about the pictures I saw was that she looked like herself. So many brides spend their wedding day dolled up in an uncomfortable dress and makeup that’s so different from what they normally wear that they’re just not themselves at their weddings. Not Lauren Conrad! She rocked her signature beachy waves and winged liner. She simply amped up her normal look with some glitz and glam, instead of totally departing from her daily style. Loved every single thing about it.

So, I thought I might as well start talking about some topics that can help ease the stress of holiday time. First up is meeting the parents and how to make sure they like you. Here we go!

If you clicked into this post, you’re in trouble, honey. Maybe your man and you are in a fight. Or maybe he’s sulking and you don’t know why. Maybe he’s just trying to get your attention. Maybe he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it. Whatever the reason, your boyfriend is ignoring you and you’re not happy about it. (Which you shouldn’t be! Being ignored in a really crappy feeling!) Here’s exactly what to do when your boyfriend ignores you.

A complaint I hear from so many women is that their men are addicted to sports and it’s ruining their relationships. At first, I thought this was an exaggeration. But, I’ve learned that it’s not. Sports can feel like another woman when you’re in a relationship with an avid sports watcher. They’re always on, they’re always getting your man’s attention and they’re always wearing tighter pants than you! I’m actually a fan of some sports, in limited doses, so I’ve never fully suffered through is-my-man-kinda-cheating-on-me-with-sports syndrome. But, here’s what I’d do if I were going through it.

I am beyond sad at the loss of Joan Rivers. She was such a force of nature and someone I admired a ton. She did so much to impact comedy, entertainment and personal branding. She was a trailblazer and a true class act. The outpouring of love and respect for Joan online is only a fraction of what she deserves. If the world stopped spinning for a full minute, that honestly wouldn’t be enough of a tribute for this renaissance woman. My career wouldn’t be what it is today without her opening doors the way she did every second until she passed away, and I couldn’t be more grateful to her. I am in mourning over her death and it got me thinking about how you can help your loved one through a tragic loss. Going through loss as a couple can be one of the most bonding or breaking trials for a couple. Here are some tips on getting through it in as constructive way as possible.
