One of my male friends is 5'7". He's been on Match.com and told me his message inbox is radio silent. He will message women and they won't respond, and doesn't receive messages initiated by women either. But then he told me, "Anita, just for fun sometimes I change my height to 6 feet, and then my inbox gets flooded with messages." Several of my male clients are on dating app and mention that of the first questions that women ask them is their height. When they say they're 5'9" or 5'8", they don't hear from them again. The average height for men is 5'9"!

There’s been a lot of talk of big celebrity couples ending their relationships this summer. Some of it gossip. Some of it legit. I had a very interesting day.
For some reason, the universe aligned in one day. I was somehow connecting with two ex-lovers.
I hadn't seen either of them in a long time, but it so happens I had lunch with one and dinner with the other. I don't know how it all went down. Maybe an email, maybe running into another one, but it was an absolutely amazing day to reconnect with people who I had very nice warm feelings about from my past.

Halloween is right around the corner and I have my costume all prepped. Let’s just say that sexy doesn’t even begin to describe it! I love taking advantage of this spooky holiday to dress a little more daring that I normally would. And if you’re single and not getting a costume, sexy or otherwise, because you have nowhere to go for Halloween, I say create that somewhere to go yourself.
