In my matchmaking business, I talk to a lot of women who are dating jet-setter men. I’m convinced that no one, not even pilots, travel more than my clients. It’s a little bit of what keeps me in business because it’s so hard to meet the right person when you’re not home a lot. And, I’m happy to step in and help. But, it’s also hard to keep a long-term relationship strong and healthy when one of you is out of town all the time. And, in that scenario, I’m not around the couple enough to jump in and help. I’ve been reading Not That Kind of Girl, Lena Dunham’s book of personal essays. I know there’s a lot of controversy surrounding the book, but one thing that no one will disagree on, not even the author, is that Lena Dunham is an oversharer. Every single girl has been asked annoying questions about her relationship status by her family. It’s just one (of the many!) terrible parts of being single.
