You would have to be living under a rock to not be aware of the hype surrounding the “dad bod”. As writers of an article discussing the exact opposite of the "dad bod", "Dating Mr. Body" (published on this blog) we would like to add our two cents on this trend.

Steak + Oysters, can we get a hell yes?!
Our love affair with The Southern began on our first trip to Nashville to pick out an apartment. Years later, it remains as one of our absolute favorite spots in town. Just a quick block away from Broadway, it is a great place for a date before hitting up your favorite honky tonks! The Southern is one of those rare places where the food is insanely delicious, but it is still fun to go just for a drink (the sangria is delish!).

Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio we frequented "Little Italy", a neighborhood comprised of only authentic, straight off the boat, Italian restaurants and cuisine. This has made us complete Italian food snobs. Honestly, one of the hardest parts about leaving Ohio for Nashville was the fear of not finding an Italian spot that measures up!

Our love for tacos goes back as far as we can remember. Don't even get us started on guacamole. Insert hearts for eyes emoji here! What makes a better date than guac, tacos, and margs?

We could not be more excited to write about this amazing restaurant for one reason, two words: Maneet Chauhan. As huge Chopped fans, when we heard our favorite judge was opening a restaurant in our home city we were beyond thrilled! Chef Maneet is known to throw brilliant twists into her food and we could not wait to try first hand!

Nashville is fortunate enough to be home to a Jonathan Waxman culinary creation, Adele's. As much as we love its urban romantic vibe as a dinner spot, why not use it as a venue to extend your Friday night date to a brunch?
Start out with an organic house coffee and gourmet coffee cake while you browse the menus! For brunching, Adele's has a full cocktail menu; the Bloody Mary is absolute perfection and is highly recommended by us Ambrose's! The JW Chicken is a signature dish of Chef Waxman, however we are huge fans of the Pizzette and JW Potatoes. Kick back and relax for a long brunch date outfitted with red table and chairs, white strung lights and a beautiful patio. It's truly one of our favorite spots!
