About David
Raised on the island of Guam, David studied journalism and always reveled in the art of putting pen to pad.
In 2009, after a broken heart and need for change, he decided to move to Los Angeles and reconnect with his true passion in life, writing.
In the summer of 2010, David created the blog “Finding Cupid” for the gay men’s magazine FRONTIERS LA. The blog focused on his point of view about keeping Love alive in modern times. The blog’s success fueled his desire to bring more “love” to his friends and readers and thus the website, Finding-Cupid.com was born.
With his new site, David wanted to create a place for anyone (gay or straight) who has become jaded by dating, lost loves and modern times. He wanted a place where they could come to believe again, a place where anyone can go to find inspiration, to laugh, to be happy and to find stories of people in the world who are keeping the art of “Love” alive.
Finding Cupid is the quintessential example of Modern Day Love. A love that is much needed and missing from our everyday, technology driven lives. You don’t have to be in a relationship to like Finding Cupid- you just want to be a better person, a better neighbor and yes, a better lover.
Finding Cupid continues to evolve from blog, radio and now paper goods- reinforcing David’s belief that indeed “Love is Making a Comeback”
