Stop throwing your money away and start converting those “almost empty” tubes of lipsticks into something useful: a lipstick palette! A lipstick palette provides you the convenience of having multiple lipsticks in a compact case thats fits into the tiniest of purses and clutches. In addition, you will get more out of your lipstick tube than ever before.
Follow these easy steps on how to get to the bottom of your lipstick tubes!
What you will need:
- Lipsticks
- Empty lipstick palette. These can be bought at your local beauty supply or online.
- A Spatula. You can get it at your local beauty supply or art store.
Step 1.
Using a spatula, insert it into the lipstick, going all the way to the bottom of the tube.
Step 2.
Pull the spatula out along with some lipstick
Step 3.
Spread lipstick into empty well, cleaning up edges after. (Wipe off spatula in between lipsticks to not mix colors)

Step 4.
Lipsticks that are not down to the nub can be easily sliced off with spatula
Step 5.
Place lipstick tip into empty well and mash down with spatula
Step 6.
Repeat steps for each well
Optional Step
If you like the texture of the lipstick in your palette to be smooth, pop the now full palette in the microwave for approximately 5-10 secs. This will melt the lipsticks down, once it cools down, the lipstick will solidify and be a smooth texture. Although you may not want to do this as it can disturb the consistency of the lipstick, having a smooth texture may be better for you personally.
