When you’re getting ready for a fun night with the girls or a hot date with your man or even just prepping for a nice long soak in the tub, you need the perfect soundtrack to set the mood. And I know this is super lame, but I love a good mashup. You know, two (or more) songs mashed together into one super awesome song? I can’t get enough of them! And they always put me in the best mood for whatever I’m prepping for. A new amazing Beyonce mashup came out this week. So, I thought I’d put that in my list of some of my favorite mashups of all time! Enjoy!
4 Beyonce From Todrick
I worship this man! I keep trying to figure out if there are any short cuts he could have taken in making this video and I don’t think so! This is a lot of hard work, time and an insane amount of talent! I’ve had this on repeat for a few days now!
Thinking Out Loud / I’m Not The Only One MASHUP (Sam Tsui & Casey Breves)
This one actually gives me the chills. It’s just really powerful. And when Casey Breves comes in…oh damn! His voice is better than chocolate! I love how it’s a love song and a break up song together. Two sides of the same coin! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, powerful stuff!
Blank Space // Style (Taylor Swift Mash-Up) – Louisa Wendorff
I make no secrets about the fact that I love me some Taylor Swift songs. But, do you know what I like even more than a Taylor Swift song? Two Taylor Swift songs at once! Seriously, give this a listen! And it’s so cool to hear a man sing Taylor’s lyrics. It gives them a slightly different meaning that’s really interesting!
“Call Me Maybe” / “Payphone” MASHUP! (ft. Jessica Jarrell & James Alan)
This one is in my top favorites list because of the production quality. I mean, listen to this. It’s so freaking professional. And they even use a payphone for some percussion sounds. I love it! Also, I will never get sick of “Call Me Maybe.” It’s a classic!
Love Me Like You Do / Style MASHUP – Ellie Goulding / Taylor Swift – Cover by Dini & Morgan Hawley
And of course I couldn’t finish this list without another Taylor song. 1989 is my jam! This one starts slow, but once the two songs meld, it’s gold! Wait for it!
