You have the upper hand in a conflict, so be nice. Your magnanimity persuades losing parties to yield without a fight.
Are you trying to fix a situation that’s chronically dysfunctional? Leave it alone. It may never work the way you want it to, but it’s still working.
The more you analyze, the iffier prospects get. Take a mental health day and give it a rest. Things will look much better when you return.
