I’m in the middle of catching up on The Bachelorette. No spoilers, please! I’m pretty behind. Even though I’m early in the season, I’ve formed some fan feelings for a few of the guys. It looks like Andi has some very serious feelings for a bunch of them as well. It got me thinking about deciding between men. This isn’t just a problem in reality TV competition shows. It happens in real life. With online dating and busy schedules, a lot of my friends wind up stacking dates and getting into separate relationships at the same time. I know you women out there who can’t even find one dateable guy think this is insane. But, trust me, when it rains, it pours. You could be dealing with a very similar situation in the near future. Here’s how I advise my friends when they’re dealing with choosing between two guys. Read more
While I'm a huge proponent of health, fitness and not allowing yourself to fall into the lovely-but not at all healthy-happy relationship black hole of pizza, couch, sex, repeat, sometimes healthy living and dating just don't mix. Here are five healthy activities best enjoyed on your own or with friends, not when you're trying to impress a first date. Read more
Your man has suddenly gone off sex. The alarm bells are ringing in your head. It’s time to panic! Or is it?
Do you want to know the REAL reason men “go off” sex?
I’ll tell you in a minute, but first let’s look at how women normally react to this situation. In my two decades of coaching women, I see two reactions from women. It has been exactly 34 days since Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Palace of Versailles in France, followed by a glamorous reception in Florence, Italy – and everyone is wondering (don’t pretend you’re not) … will this one last?
Or will it at the very least last longer than her 72-day marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries – a complete embarrassment for all involved, including the 10.5 million people who watched the wedding special on VH1. If only I could get those four hours of my life back. Read more
Hey Everybody,
Sorry, we've been away for a while.
But the Love Report is back!
And it's back with a bang. Or for some of you in monogamous relationships, it's back with maybe a whimper and a little less banging.
Join David and I today as we talk about relationship monogamy and monotony, and how to really overcome some of that when your relationship is just in that, oh-so-funky-slow period.
You’ll get a front row seat, as David confesses today about his raging single life (it’s pretty steamy).
Who's he dating?
What type of woman does he like?
Now I know all this because I've known him for so many years, so I know the exact type of woman that he likes.
And I give him a little tease here and there about where he's meeting all these women.
And…
I'm going to share something about my personal relationship that's just going to — well you have to listen to find out.
Alright, see you on the Love Report.
Patti out.
When your relationship is heading into serious territory long after that first date has passed, there comes a time when you must face meeting the parents or in some cases the entire family depending on how it plays out. For some of us it is a monumentally joyous occasion and for others it’s a rather stress-inducing event to say the least. Here are a few pointers to help you ease through what could be a nerve racking encounter. Most importantly, be yourself and enjoy the company!
